Background

PROJECT BACKGROUND
The main contractor for this development project, Godrevy construction invited Dson Industries to look at the design and supply elements for the heavy duty slab. Key to the construction was to ensure that the pavement designed to withstand the imposed loads from heavily axled trucks. Attention to detail and the highest quality standards were determined from the outset and indeed proved to be very much an enduring feature of the final completed pavement structure

Solution

After due consideration, the technical department of Dson Industries designed the most salient requirements for heavy-duty concrete pavements with respect to subbases, and reinforcement

Construction

We were receiving 40-50 cubes of Concrete in a day displaying just how quick concrete construction can be when good design and placement techniques are used the finishing was quick and simple . After screeding, all that was involved was an initial bull float, a medium broom finish, a cure and seal application and then the joints were saw cut.
